# Amazon Ads integration for paid acquisition

Hendrik reads Amazon Ads profiles, campaigns, ad groups, targets, and advertised product reports so you can compare advertising results with marketplace operations.

## Questions Hendrik can help answer

- Did a target or product report change before the budget question?
- Do stock or financial events change the pacing choice?
- Which product needs a marketplace operations check?

## Illustrative example

### Review an advertised product with low stock

Same 14-day USD windows

*About this example: Synthetic data · illustrative analysis · Hendrik only acts with the permissions you give it.*

- Advertised product spend (Amazon Ads): US$8,000 → US$10,000
- Attributed sales (Amazon Ads): US$32,000 → US$41,000
- Current available units (Amazon Seller Central): 950 → 78

### What Hendrik checks

- **Verify SKU identity:** Establish the advertised product and listing refer to the same item.
- **Confirm marketplace:** Use the same marketplace in both integrations.
- **Check replenishment:** Treat inventory as current availability, not a demand forecast.

### What Hendrik sees

Attributed sales increased while current available units fell to 78.

### What to do next

Cap promotion for the item until supply is confirmed.

**Limit:** Attributed sales are not added to Seller Central sales in this example.

## What Amazon Ads contributes

Use Amazon Ads with Seller Central to see whether stock, listings, or marketplace financial events should change ad pacing.

## Data Hendrik reads

- **Profiles:** Marketplace advertising profile scope.
- **Campaigns and ad groups:** Campaign structure and targeting context.
- **Targets:** Target records.
- **Advertised product report:** Product-level advertising reports.

## Setup and access

- **Setup:** When enabled, sign in with Amazon Ads and select the advertising profile and marketplace.
- **Permissions:** Amazon Ads OAuth scope: advertising::campaign_management.
- **Accounts:** One advertising profile, country, and Amazon account.
- **History:** The current product configuration defaults to 90 days. Hendrik shows the actual coverage after the first sync.
- **Refresh:** Configured data streams run from every 6 hours to daily. Hendrik shows the published freshness for each source after sync.
- **Setup timing:** Amazon Ads starts its initial sync after authorization, account selection, and data checks. The duration depends on the selected account and history.
- **Actions:** Connecting reads Amazon Ads data. It does not change campaigns, targets, or budgets.
- **Availability:** Your workspace shows Connect or Request access for your account.

## What you need to connect

- Confirm profile, marketplace, and currency scope.
- Use Amazon reporting windows consistently.
- Keep Ads and Seller Central metrics separate until their relationship is established.

## Important limits

- Amazon Ads attribution is platform reporting, not total marketplace sales proof.
- A product report needs a verified product identity before comparison to listings.
- Advertising and Seller Central outcomes must not be added together.
