# Amazon Seller Central integration for paid acquisition

Hendrik reads Amazon Seller Central orders, order items, financial events, inventory, and listings so you can put marketplace operations beside Amazon advertising.

## Questions Hendrik can help answer

- Are marketplace operations limiting an advertising choice?
- Did financial event timing change the commercial result?
- Which listing needs a stock or offer review?

## Illustrative example

### Explain a marketplace value gap

Same 30-day USD windows

*About this example: Synthetic data · illustrative analysis · Hendrik only acts with the permissions you give it.*

- Order value (Amazon Seller Central): US$140,000 → US$142,000
- Financial event amount (Amazon Seller Central): US$131,000 → US$119,000
- Attributed sales (Amazon Ads): US$62,000 → US$67,000

### What Hendrik checks

- **Separate date bases:** Check financial-event timing before interpreting the order gap.
- **Review refunds and fees:** Inspect the financial event types rather than treating them as net sales.
- **Avoid double counting:** Do not add Amazon Ads attributed sales to marketplace order value.

### What Hendrik sees

Order value was nearly flat while financial event amount fell and Amazon Ads attributed sales rose.

### What to do next

Review the financial-event composition before changing Amazon Ads budget.

**Limit:** The integrations report different measurement systems and are not reconciled here.

## What Amazon Seller Central contributes

Use Seller Central with Amazon Ads to compare marketplace orders and financial events with platform attribution.

## Data Hendrik reads

- **Orders:** Marketplace order facts.
- **Order items:** Order-line product detail.
- **Financial events:** Marketplace financial event records.
- **Inventory and listings:** Current stock and listing data.

## Setup and access

- **Setup:** When enabled, sign in with Selling Partner and select the seller account and marketplace.
- **Permissions:** Selling Partner read access for orders, reports, finances, and listings.
- **Accounts:** One seller account and marketplace.
- **History:** The current product configuration defaults to 90 days. Hendrik shows the actual coverage after the first sync.
- **Refresh:** Configured data streams run from hourly to every 6 hours. Hendrik shows the published freshness for each source after sync.
- **Setup timing:** Amazon Seller Central starts its initial sync after authorization, account selection, and data checks. The duration depends on the selected account and history.
- **Actions:** Connecting reads Seller Central data. It does not change listings, inventory, or marketplace orders.
- **Availability:** Your workspace shows Connect or Request access for your account.

## What you need to connect

- Confirm the Selling Partner account and marketplace.
- Use matching marketplace currency and date definitions.
- State whether an amount is an order, financial event, or settlement amount.

## Important limits

- Financial events can have different timing from orders.
- Marketplace order data is not Amazon Ads attribution.
- Inventory is current state and may not identify historical availability.
