# Shopify + Google Ads + Recharge + Stripe integration and analysis

Connect Shopify, Google Ads, Recharge and Stripe to Hendrik. Separate acquisition delivery, store revenue, subscription renewals, and payment collection.

## The question this stack can answer

Are renewals and successful payments keeping up with Google Ads?

## What Hendrik reads from each source

- **Shopify:** Orders, refunds, payment status, product cost coverage, and location inventory show what happened in the store.
- **Google Ads:** Spend, delivery, and Google reported conversions show the Google Ads side of the question.
- **Recharge:** Subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, and charges show the health of subscriber retention.
- **Stripe:** Payments, refunds, and disputes show whether money was collected after an order was placed.

## What you need to connect

- Use one explicit 28-day comparison window, time zone, market, and legal-entity scope before comparing values.
- Connected Shopify order, refund, and inventory data for the same store and comparison window.
- Connected Google Ads account with spend and conversion reporting for the stated window.
- Connected Recharge account with comparable subscription, renewal, and cancellation definitions.
- Connected Stripe account with payment, refund, and dispute data for the same legal entity.
- Keep provider-specific definitions visible and use an identity or product mapping only where it is established for this workspace.

## Important limits

- Declared UTM text is not a verified ad-platform campaign identity; cost coverage and provenance control any margin claim.
- Google-reported conversion value is platform attribution, not incremental revenue or a deduplicated business total.
- Subscription outcomes can overlap commerce and payment records; no campaign cohort or customer match is assumed.
- Payments must not be added to storefront or marketplace revenue; transaction reconciliation needs a proven payment relationship.

## Illustrative example

### Shopify + Google Ads + Recharge + Stripe review

Previous: 1–28 January. Current: 29 January–25 February. Both periods contain 28 days. Monetary values use USD and all timestamps use UTC. Shopify net orders fell from $110,000 to $106,000 and refunds rose from $6,800 to $9,200. Google Ads: spend rose from $21,000 to $26,000 while platform conversion value rose from $88,000 to $105,000. Recharge renewals fell from 1,080 to 980. Stripe successful payments fell from $102,000 to $94,000.

*About this example: Synthetic data · illustrative analysis · Hendrik only acts with the permissions you give it.*

- net order value (USD, 28 days) (Shopify): 110,000 USD → 106,000 USD
- reported conversion value (USD, 28 days) (Google Ads): 88,000 USD → 105,000 USD
- successful renewals (count, 28 days) (Recharge): 1,080 → 980
- successful payment amount (USD, 28 days) (Stripe): 102,000 USD → 94,000 USD
- refund value (USD, orders from the prior 28-day cohort) (Shopify): 6,800 USD → 9,200 USD
- Google Ads spend (USD, consecutive 28-day periods) (Google Ads): 21,000 USD → 26,000 USD

### What Hendrik checks

- **Read Shopify net orders and refunds:** Establish the storefront outcome after refunds.
- **Review Google Ads delivery:** Inspect search, Shopping, and Performance Max delivery, spend, conversion settings, and documented campaign changes.
- **Read Recharge subscriber health:** The third integration adds renewals, cancellations, and failed-payment questions for subscriptions. Keep its commerce records separate from Shopify totals.
- **Read Stripe collection:** The fourth integration adds payment success, failure, refund, dispute, and timing that can explain a collection issue without assigning it to acquisition.
- **Reconcile scope:** Check payment method, currency, refund treatment, and period boundaries before comparing commerce and collection measures.

### What Hendrik sees

Shopify net order value fell and refund value rose. Google Ads reported higher conversion value as spend rose. Recharge successful renewals fell. Stripe successful payment amount fell.

### What to do next

Check confirmed Stripe payment failures or Recharge renewal problems before changing Google Ads spend. Once the operating issue is corrected, reassess Stripe collection, Recharge renewals, Shopify refunds, and Google Ads delivery under the same completed-period definitions.

**Limit:** Shopify, Recharge, and Stripe may overlap or use different timing. Do not add their revenue, and do not attribute payment collection to Google Ads without a documented mapping.
